Always buy the cutter at least 1/8" larger than your valve. There is a cutter similar to the one mentioned above made by Lindy tools and sells for about the same price as the Isky tool ($125). If you have to cut a pocket in the piston that is over 50% of the valve face (1/2 of the face of the valve), then according to Isky's catalog, their cutter will not work efficently (which I can vouch for this statement).
